AGOA - Nigeria's agricultural exports very small - US

Nigeria's agricultural exports to the United States under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) increased from around $3 million to $9 million in 2017 but the level is still very small, a trade specialist with the Department of State, Ace Gazis, has said. East Africa: US gives three countries ultimatum to reverse mitumba ban

East African nations that are en-route to banning the importation of used clothes may soon pay the price after Washington said it will impose trade penalties in retaliation to what it sees as a blockage of free trade. 'Ghana lauded for good performance under AGOA'

Non-oil AGOA exports reach $4.2b, bilateral trade grows to $38b

Despite the huge trade deficit between the United States and African countries, a US government official says the country is working to make trade with the continent more reciprocal.
